About the Rabbit year
Rabbit is the diplomat and aesthete of the Chinese zodiac — quiet authority through taste, timing, and tact rather than force. Famous Rabbits include Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt, Michael Jordan, Frank Sinatra, and Albert Einstein. How Rabbit years are determined
Some traditions (particularly Vietnamese) use Cat instead of Rabbit for this fourth animal. Our calculator and pages use Rabbit (the Chinese standard) but the underlying lunar-year math is identical.
