Their MBTI personality type is ESTJ.
Strax MBTI Most people think Strax is ESTJ (Extraverted, Sensing, Thinking, Judging), a personality type defined by strong organizational instincts, decisiveness, and a no-nonsense approach to getting things done. ESTJs are often called “executives” or “supervisors,” bringing order and efficiency to any group or system. Discover other ESTJ characters who share similar traits and behavioral patterns. Cognitive function theory suggests they may have relied on Extraverted Thinking (Te) and Introverted Sensing (Si). These mental processes shape how they absorb information, communicate, and make decisions, often influencing their style of problem-solving and relationships. Strax Enneagram In the Enneagram system, Strax is commonly recognized as 8w7, known as the Challenger, or the Leader. They are typically described as confident, decisive, and strong-willed — often seeking control, influence, or power. At the core, Strax is driven by a Basic Fear of being harmed or controlled by others, and a Core Desire to be self-reliant and in control of their own life. This motivational tension can be seen in how they approach both success and vulnerability — shaping the arc of their personal development. About Strax Strax was, at one time, a Commander in the Sontaran army, but was demoted to the status of nurse. At some point he encountered the Doctor and the two began an odd friendship, leading Strax to participate in the Battle of Demon's Run, where he was killed (or, perhaps, simply fainted). The Doctor managed to get Strax brought back from the dead (although he came back wrong a bit), and he began living with Vastra and Jenny in Victorian London. Showed up in Big Finish Doctor Who, where he got to team up with Jago and Litefoot... because he got hit on the head and thought they were Vastra and Jenny.
